I suppose we all have to start somewhere. The prospect of writing seems so fun when you're not doing it.

And then you do it.

What we're left with is the sinking feeling that, for all the thinking we've been doing, it's time to do the thing we've been thinking.

So, as any programmer with a sense of reverence for the old ways would begin:
